What This Is

The Setup List documents the exact equipment professional athletes compete and film on — the board, the bindings, the boots, and the stance numbers they set them to. Currently 142 athletes, 184 setups and 181 pieces of gear.

Why it exists

Plenty of sites will tell you a rider is sponsored by a brand. Almost nobody publishes the part that actually matters to someone setting up their own board: which model, what size, and at what angles. That information is scattered across brand team pages, interviews, podcasts and old magazine surveys. This site collects it in one place and says where every claim came from.

How a setup gets published

Every fact on this site is attached to a source, and every source is graded. You can see both on the page: each setup carries a verification date and a source count.

Setups are re-checked each season, and older seasons stay published at their own URLs rather than being overwritten — what someone rode in 2017 is a fact about 2017.

What this site will not do

How it makes money

Some links to retailers are affiliate links: if you buy through one, this site earns a commission at no extra cost to you. That is the entire business model — no ads, no sponsored placements, no paid inclusion. No brand has ever paid to appear here, and a commission has never decided what a page says. Every affiliate link is marked up as sponsored so search engines can see it too.

Corrections

If you know a setup first-hand and we have it wrong, there is a correction link at the bottom of every rider profile. Please include a source — it is the only way a correction can be published without becoming the exact kind of unsourced claim this site avoids. Corrections are reviewed by hand.
